Sea Temperature: Warm
Weather: Grey, windy

Distance Covered:

Took a look at Esso en route - really windy but dead onshore and only a couple of hours of sailing left before the water ran out, so off to the sea front. Nobody there! Amazing. Admittedly the sea was crashing over the top further along from the Inn on the Beach.
Waited an hour or so and launched the Rip 'n' Search combo which did the job solidly for three hours or so. Very few lulls. I dealt with the long layoff quite well but gybing was absolute rubbish. Only a handful of inelegant last minute recoveries. The rest were all waterstarts. Mind you it was probably tougher than I realised with me a bit over powered and the water state a bit confused.
Surprisingly not a great session but a wave board session nonetheless. Now I come to think of it I did have a hangover, so that might have accounted for some of the problems. 3 and a half. Would have been a five if I'd been in a better mood.
